Rocio Egio is an illustrator based in Lausanne, Switzerland. After studying architecture in Spain, she moved to Switzerland to embark on a new career path. Focusing on illustration and design centered around food and culinary culture, she began to carve out her niche, experimenting with diverse styles, materials, and tools to bring her unique creative possibilities to life. Her depictions of ingredients and dishes, rendered with seemingly simple lines, shapes, and colors, enable intuitive understanding and appreciation from the audience. However, reaching this refined simplicity requires extensive exploration, experimentation, and a deliberate effort to distill only the essence of the subjects.
