Illustrator / Saint Petersburg, Russia

Maria Margevich is an illustrator based in Saint Petersburg. Adorable animals and beautiful nature always give her fairytale inspiration. As we are, animals in her works also express their precious feelings, hug each other with happiness, and miss someone endlessly. Beyond the allegorical expression of simply projecting human society, their own beautiful world unfolds with heartful welcoming. The sincere affection towards the subject is conveyed through soft lines and warm colors. Animals painted in their original form without excessive anthropomorphism, deliver a beautiful scene, conveying a rich emotion that everyone can relate to.
