Lucia Calfapietra

Illustrator / Marseille, France

Lucia Calfapietra is an illustrator based in Marseille. Deeply influenced by old children’s books, Lucia plays with textures, clean shapes, and vivid colors. She loves to digitally recreate the feeling of hand-made, cheap printed ephemera from the past. Through her work, the nostalgia of the Mediterranean city conveys to the viewer. She combines dreamy sceneries with an ironic touch.
